Drop Step
· Use this technique on a ball hit at you or to your right
· Field the ball with left to right foot shuffle
· As the ball is reaching you step with the left foot then the right follow by a drop step with the left foot creating the throwing angle to second, make the transfer, and throw in one smooth motion
· Make sure you are low and under control to minimize your chance of a fielding or throwing error
